Take a pair of vintage mens jeans, douse them in bleach and proposition them with sandpaper and within a handful of hours you have the perfect pair of boyfriend shorts. You should have seen these babies before; as indigo as the night. If bespoke is the new luxury, I’m proud to note that my designer denim comes worn and torn by hand.

Not quite Abbey-Lee, although I have taken a shine to my newly hued ash blonde ends. I wanted to impress you so I spent a half hour after work straightening my hair. Seconds before Kevin snapped these shots it started to rain just enough to catch in my fringe; I shrugged off the clouds, lately I’ve been in the mood for a thunderstorm. I find I write best in the moments before the lightning and the thunder make themselves at home; perhaps its the pressure.

Oh, the power of a fashion mood. If someone had told me even a few months ago that come January I would be rocking sweatpants with heels I would have laughed in their face. The slouchy jersey feels so current after years of tights and leggings and paired alongside sharp shoulders it hints at just the right ammount of careless confidence.

A day off from work calls for playtime! I finally had a chance to have a rummage at the Boxing Day sales and found this incredible bodysuit. The print makes me heart flutter and head spin but it speaks my language and gets along surprisingly well with the rest of my wardrobe.

When it comes to embellishment I usually prefer subtle hints over dramatic shout outs but I couldn’t pass up the incredible print of this sequinned number. I can’t decide if it looks like fire or an animal print of some kind but regardless it lights up my night and purrs on my skin.

Monday morning brought a calm that was at odds with my energy. My body is still jet lagged from my New York City trip but my mind just can’t sit still. I’m up at all hours, sculpting thoughts and plotting my course. I’ve never felt more inspired or more awake.
