KahriAnne Kerr grew up on a farm outside of Tripoli, Iowa. She taught herself how to sew and design and created her first collection as a freshman at BYU-Idaho. KahriAnne started her business in 2002 by opening her first store “Kreations by Kahri” in Waverly, Iowa. After a few months, KahriAnne moved to Ames, Iowa to attend Iowa State University, so the store had to go. Kahri clothing was picked up by a local boutique and soon KahriAnne became a local celebrity, with her designs quickly selling out. In 2003, KahriAnne moved to NYC to attend the prestigious Fashion Institute of Technology. She started selling her designs in NYC boutiques and online stores. Kahri has been sold in over 20 boutiques and 30 online stores. Kahri has been featured in many fashion shows, tv shows, magazines, and on celebrities. Over the years, Kahri has evolved and is now a high end edgy women’s contemporary clothing and accessories brand. Kahri has been featured in magazines/newspapers such as WWD, Zink, Vibe, Interview, Highlights, etc. KahriAnne was featured on 2 episodes of Jerseylicious on the Style network and won the “Rising Star” award from Lord & Taylor at NJ Fashion Week and was the winner of 24 Hour Catwalk episode 3 on Lifetime. Celebrities who have rocked Kahri include: Keri Hilson, Paris Hilton, Miss USA, Miss Universe, Fergie, and more. Kahri is for the hip, funky, sexy chick that likes to stand out, in a good way.
