another day, another outfit   Add as Favorite Photo

I forgot all about this dress, until I dug deep into my closet. I liked the contrast of the structure of the blazer with the free-flowing and more feminine dress.

school and about   Add as Favorite Photo

I wore this to school, and to run a few errands. All of the clothing on me was thrifted or found in my mom’s closet. I recently purchased the blazer from the little boy’s section at value village, and I’ve been trying to work it into multiple outfits. The bag may be a little large, but it does the trick for carrying my textbook and notebook to class.

grandma-knitted scarf   Add as Favorite Photo

For my birthday my grandma knitted me an oversized purple scarf, how perfect. I can’t wait until it is cold enough to wear it out and about.

New jacket: keep or return?   Add as Favorite Photo

I recently purchased this new jacket, and I am quite infatuated with the collar of it. However, I am not sure if it worth how much I paid for it. You be the judge, opinions greatly appreciated!

Also, I am not sure what it is about this change of season, but it’s making me want to lop all my hair off.

lounging   Add as Favorite Photo

this is what a wore a few days back just to sit around my house—hence the lack of shoes on my feet. i indulged in prozac nation, a ton of girl talk and sangria. it was a hot, HOT, day.

this was a dress i got for free from the festival (hillside) that i volunteered at. i am not one to turn down free clothing, even if it’s a size L. it’s the aa fine jersey t dress, that resembled a pillowcase before i took it on the sides a bit, and then belted it. the belt added a little more shape (though i don’t have much hip, ha).

the belt is vintage, circa 1970s—found in my mom’s closet. i find a lot of good things in there, she was quite stylish back in the day.

(this dress looks entirely different on me v.s. the model on the aa site—i’m aware __)

servin' beer   Add as Favorite Photo

This is what I wore to serve beer in a beertent at a music festival (called Hillside). I smelled of stale beer ALL weekend, but it was worth it. Also, I managed to make a few tips, a few eye exchanges with some fine gentlemen; all while Thunderheist, Spiral Beach, Born Ruffians and Akron/Family played.

By the end of the weekend I was a mess, due to 2 nights of camping, and an excess of swimming. Well worth it though.
