Dilemma Add as Favorite Photo

I bought this vintage shirt online and have been eagerly awaiting it’s arrival all week. It finally showed up yesterday and I immediately put it on. Unfortunately, I soon realised my original plan to wear it as a dress wasn’t going to work. For today, I chucked a slip underneath and wore it as a sort of oversize top/minidress… It semi-works like this, but I feel it’s not living up to it’s true potential (yes, I talk about my clothes as if they’re people). I love the print (zebra stripes = Balmain, and you can’t go wrong there), so I want to do something with it, I’m just not sure what. Any suggestions?
P.S. My ring collection is growing!
P.P.S. I promise to stop wearing this blazer. I realise it’s waaaaaaaaay overworn!

I’m exhausted. I swear if I have to read one more page, or memorise one more case, either I’ll burst into tears or my brain will explode. So, in order to keep my sanity, I threw on the easiest, comfiest outfit I could find, and headed to a mates house to drink and watch cheesy, 90s movies like Ever After, and Clueless.

After seeing a photo on Jak & Jil, I decided my black flats had sat in my closet for a bit too long. After all, if it’s okay by Paris Vogue, it’s okay by me.

Zip Me Up Add as Favorite Photo

I did it! An exposed zip skirt. This was by far the hardest DIY project I’ve attempted (it took me a good three goes to get the zip in properly) but that only made it more satisfying when I finally finished it. For those of you that haven’t tried DIYing – give it a shot. It’s much easier than you think, it’s actually quite fun and it’s ten times cheaper than buying things in the stores. Plus, you end up with an item nobody else has, and made specifically for you. I’m by no means a tailor, or even a particularly fantastic seamstress, but I’d be more than happy to help if you ever have any questions – just leave me a comment or send me an email!

I’ll be honest: It’s actually Spring down here, but today the weather was very Autumnish so I pulled out my mustard skirt. I’ve always felt mustard is the perfect Autumn colour. I don’t know why, it probably has something to do with the trees…

My love affair with bleach continues. After being bleached, I hacked these up with scissors. I think they’re my new favourite jeans – the bleach makes the denim really soft and thin and the holes make them feel lived in.
