I was in the storage room a couple weeks ago, hunting through some boxes that I never unpacked. I can’t remember what I was looking for, but I found this shirt. I bought it when I was a senior in high school for the Sadie Hawkins dance. Both my date and I wore this shirt. If I had a scanner, I would’ve scanned the photos from that dance so you could see it, but sadly I haven’t found a scanner to purchase yet.

You’ve seen my other houndstooth skirt, now it’s time to talk about my other houndstooth skirt.
My sister and I went shopping together one night. We went into Express when she saw a sign that said “buy one get one half off of everything in the store.” The associate there helped my sister find something cute and warm to wear over her 7-months-pregnant belly. While browsing, this houndstooth skirt called out to me. Pretty much anything with houndstooth print does that. I ended up going home with this skirt and a another one like it in solid red.

I pulled this old blazer out of storage. I used to wear it years ago when I worked at the mall so I got sick of it. Now I’m ready to put it back into rotation.
I paired it up with a simple black dress, some houndstooth printed tights and some jewelry that I made.

Seeing these tights, I wasn’t thinking sexy. I felt fine wearing them to my office.
Then the comments started.
Then the staring started.
After 8 hours in these tights at my desk, I decided that these are better suited for the weekend.
