Just another day at school. Normally, I would have Stylista to look forward to on Wednesdays, since Wednesday is my long day of classes. Not happening today though thanks to basketball. Oh well, go Lakers! I have a paper I should be working on anyway.

For once, the weather felt like autumn. Throughout this entire week, there had been a ridiculous heatwave (+90°!!), so the change was very much needed. I wore this to shop and get yogurt with my boyfriend later.

So as you can see, I gave in to American Apparel and bought the cotton spandex jersey high-waisted skirt. I wanted to try it out as a dress, but it came out too short for my taste.. which is where the turtleneck comes in! I do love this skirt! So far, it’s been pretty versatile.

Caught talking on the phone with the new boy in my life. (: (Let’s not get into what happened to the last one.. ehh)

I wore this to class earlier today, since the weather is starting to cool off. I’m loving that it’s the weekend already!

School has been keeping me busy busy busy, which is exactly why I decided to take some time to go “out and about,” as a good friend of mine would say. I wore this to Photo Sticker to take purikura and to go for a drive with some friends later that evening.

The oversized pocket cardigan and the shoes are repeat offenders from my last couple of posts.. and it’s hard to tell here, but yes, I am wearing tights.

Also here’s the sticker sheet just for kicks! Surprisingly, the boys were much more into this than we were.

My boy took me to his nearby park to teach me how to play chess. Due to my inability to think logically and spatially, however, I sucked. I told the poor guy I’d work on it though. (Any tips?)

I normally belt this dress, but I decided to go for the vest today, since I didn’t want to bother with adjusting the thing every time I moved. It was a good thing I did. When you’re lying in the grass and admiring, it would definitely be a problem.

I went to a bonfire for the first time in over a year. It was another high school sanctioned one, so I dragged a girlfriend of mine along to make sure I knew at least someone. What a sweetheart! She also surprised me with a very cute bracelet she saw on her trip to Cancun. After much chit chat, silliness, and inhalation of potentially harmful fumes with our old high school friends, we decided to grab dinner at Mimi’s. What can I say? I love their carrot bread!
