inspired by the clotheshorse’s post featuring everyone’s favorite major kitchen monolith – the mighty refrigerator! – i’ve decided to share an old picture of myself doing what was later dubbed by my friends “pooping in the fridge.”

also included are various other unflattering photos.

1. welcome to 2005, when i thought it was okay to wear leggings with a frayed denim mini skirt.

2. modeling a ridiculous satin monstrosity of a choir dress that i stole from the choir closet in high school. 2003.

3. my terrible tourist fashion on a 2006 trip to budapest. that fake fur trim around the hood was removable, but it was so damn cold that i had to leave it on to survive.

4. i was a strange child. 1991.

i’m going to have to take better pictures of this outfit and repost. blurry, missing bits of head and toes? urgh.

i was supposed to go into new york for a date tonight, but had to reschedule last minute.

i so badly wanted beer, french fries (mmm, pommes frites) and the company of a cute boy.

wore this to see “in bruges” today at the american movie theater. i missed it when it was out back at home, and it was ridiculously good. lots of trailers for “the dark knight,” which doesn’t come out over here until late august. such a tease! i need to see it when i get home ASAP.

EDIT: i added a photo of my shirt from the pergamon museum. the design depicts a dragon – the visual symbol for the babylonian god marduk.
