denim & leather with a bit of sparkle Add as Favorite Photo

What I wore on Saturday. I went to Global Gathering yesterday, which was my first ever festival, I must say i was pleasently surprised by the crowd. The music was amazing. I don’t have any good photos, I tend to lose all fashion decency at these kinds of things, If anything interesting turns up I’ll be sure to post it up.
I’ve had this denim jacket for about two months now. I bought it at a General Pants sale, and was pretty excited, I haven’t had a denim jacket since my mum was dressing me. But I haven’t been able to wear it untill now because I somehow couldn’t find what to wear it with. How weird, its very simple and denim. eh. anyone else have this problem?

Nothing special as of late, I’ve started busting my bum at work so that I can have enough money for special Christmas shopping for me, parents and a few close friends. I’m thinking the oh so not very nice service of Chanel boutique in Sydney. And I’m also going up to the Gold Coast for a while early next year. It’s my favourite place in Australia, something about stepping out of a house and onto the beach is super appealing ;)
This is what I wore to work, minus the shoes. They were so good before I started though. And after I finished. I’ve learnt against wearing heels to work over the Christmas period in a busy city store. Sometimes you can’t even walk in flats.

I am in love with the pants, I’d like to sleep in them. But I’d prefer them to live past a month, so I try not to. Wearing them pretty much everyday is ok though. No dramatic pose for effect of pants today, more like I’m too tired from work last night and haven’t washed my hair put im running up the street for lunch. You can kind of tell how short and stubby I actually am in this photo, it’s the pants but thats alright I’m pretty used to being short after like nineteen years now.
I somehow ended up on eBay (ok, it’s not a surprise) and decided to search sass&bide to see what people are selling from the sale. I was so sad to find a thirty dollar dress going for a hundred and fifty dollars, which my mum found and tried to convince me to get. Sadly it wasn’t something I’d wear so I left it in some big pile of clothes somewhere. I kind of regret it now; I dunno why I wasn’t thinking eBay. Although I did find out that the retail price of my new fav dress was something like eight hundred dollars, not too bad :P

I got these pants at the sass&bide sale.. for 50$ I really didn’t wanna get into the whole harem/hammer pant craze, but when i saw only one pair of these at the sale, in my size. it was a sign. that kind of stuff never happens to me, I mean finding things in my size, especially at sales.
the jacket was also a bargain from a little while back. it was 25$ down from 125$. pretty good for a cashmere blend jacket which is ment to be worn at home. i kind of think its too nice to be slept in.

raining shoes. Add as Favorite Photo

It’s raining today, so something sparkly was in order. If anyone ever wonders why I pretty much always wear the same shoes, its because I have less than ten pairs of shoes if you count them all. and that includes beach thongs and these ugg boot type things I wear at home, and only at home. Its kind of sad actually but I’m pretty happy with a small collection. I’m not really a shoe buying person as much as I love to try them on and all. I realise what a big part of the outfit a shoe is, but I kind of think hey black goes with everything, and settle at that. I’m more of a bag person, or clothes person. I just buy a pair of black high heeled shoes every year, and that’s pretty much it. Ok well I’ll buy a few pairs of flats because they always seem to wear out so fast, I don’t even abuse my shoes.. I just come home and be like “Oh look my favourite pair of shoes is coming apart at the sole!” Yay. That’s how my collection seems so small. And I only buy leather shoes because my feet get sweaty, how very sexy. You’ll all be glad to know I bought my obligatory pair of black shoes last week, that’ll probably be it for the year. How very, very sad.
Ps. These are actually one of the few 100% waterproof shoes I have, well not waterproof but they keep my feet dry. By them featuring in a billion photos, you can probably tell I like them ;)

(just finished) School Girl Add as Favorite Photo

Hooray I’ve finished my exams. And I have nothing to talk about, I’ve been left a little bit lost for words after doing 4 essays in the time frame of two hours which seemed to go way past the recommended 500 word length. The day after exams I felt dressing like a school girl, I miss my school uniform, which sadly didn’t have any cool blazers or anything that special, grey plaid skirt, navy wool sweater which I wore with either black or white high socks and shoes with a small heel. I never thought Id miss wearing uniform, although I was probably the only person who enjoyed wearing my uniform all the way to the last days of school. There are cold mornings which I wish university had uniforms, but I think most people would prefer it the casual way.
Anyway I dunno whats going on with the posture in the second photo, but it was sadly the best photo out of the bunch, which has gotta tell you alot lol.
I’m getting my lazy blog back on track, and if any body would like to do a link exchange please comment me. I actually already link a lot of the blogs I know about and read daily, but I’m always looking for more inspiration. You can find my blog here.
