Here’s my take on the modern day cowboy steeze. Inspired by Number (N)ine’s 2008./2009 Fall Winter collection I played with a crisp white chinese collared shirt longsleeves and a fitted pair of slacks. I accentuated the look with a scarf wrapped around my neck and an ultra soft vest for the modern cowboy look. Of course I just had to roll up my trousers a little bit for the Thom Browne look…lol

Christy’s trilby hat
Dita glasses
Henrik Vibskov scarf
BSon Vest
Rag and Bone shirt
April 77 Chelsea pants
Common Projects laceless slipons
Surface to Air cargo tote
and a Stephan Schneider cardigan in my tote just in case it gets chilly…

It is getting colder and colder each day. I am not a big fan of the holidays specially now that I’m single. I do love the idea of layering and wearing winter clothes. I guess that’s the consolation…

What am I wearing..

Christy’s Hat
Nerdy Glasses
Henrik V Scarf
AA thermal
Attachment peacoat
Gayprilz 77
RO shoes

Black to Basics   Add as Favorite Photo

I just couldn’t get over black. It just goes well with everything. And after eating a bag of m&m’s it looks like I will be wearing black the entire fall season. Black certainly has a slimming effect unlike bright colors which magnifies one’s weight issues.

Anyway, here’s what I was wearing…
Generic Slouchy Beanie
KK by Attachment Double-Hook Blazer
Black Hanes
April 77 Joeys
Rick Owens Trainers

Naked Chef   Add as Favorite Photo

Everything is so last minute here in the States. I ended up going to my friend’s Halloween Party as the Naked Chef. I never fail to shock my friends every year…LOL! Since it’s such a depressing time here in the US due to the economic meltdown and the political wars I figured laughter is greatly needed.

Anyway, I was wearing…
Chef’s Hat courtesy of Spirit
Apron from Ross
Faux Black Ass from some random store in the Castro (there’s a story behind this. I used to be black but I ended up getting some sort of skin pigmentation disease…yes similar to Michael Jackson…to make the costume funnier)
Egg Beater and Stick (random I took from my apartment)

A Warhol   Add as Favorite Photo

I took advantage of the Target Family Day last Sunday by checking out the Contemporary Jewish Museum of San Francisco for the first time. I was able to check out the Andy Warhol exhibit for free.

Behind me is the amazing vibrant blue metallic steel, which changes color depending on the time of day, weather, or one’s vantage point…This is one of my favorite contemporary design concepts!

On the second picture I am standing in front of the entrance of the museum with the collar of jacket all messed up…lol..

I’m wearing…
Dita glasses
YSL Safari trench coat
Band of Outsiders l/s shirt
April 77 Overdrives
Surface 2 Air tote
Common Projects laceless slipons

New haircut   Add as Favorite Photo

After three months of bad hair day….I finally got a haircut. I really didn’t have anything in mind when I got my hair chopped. All I wanted was to have a low-maintenance do for fall since I’m sure it’s going to get tougher to get my ass out of bed for work in the mornings.

Anyway, it turned out ok. I’m actually happy with the nerdy-military-punk-inspired look of the haircut.

Anyway…I’m wearing….
Dita glasses
Henrik Vibskov piggy scarf
Marc Jacobs Christy Turlington naked tee
Raf Simons mailman bag
Do-It-Yourself leather bracelet
April 77 Thunder Jeans
Rick Owens combat boots
