and i wore it to work today. i bought this blazer a bit ago and kept pulling it out, trying it on, and to its dismay…. putting it back . i wanted to really give it a good debut.
and after seeing all the fab photos of outfits that i didnt own i thoght it would never happen. well this morning it did. partly because i actually tried to really make it happen and also because the skirt was a tad…. and i mean tad. longer.
i think its a good look. the skirt is a thrifted tennis skirt. black tights. black nine west knee highs.

what do you think?

i thrifted this a few weeks ago. its a little darker than lilac. a.great.find. and really warm

i am in the mood to be comfortable at work right now esp since i have been working 6 days a week. sometimes i cant manage much in the morning but this is ok right?
the orange tunic underneath is one i picked up from target. its a 3xl. it works i think
ahhhh yes those black minnetonkas. i would sell my soul for these shoes!

this is me at work… working. for those of you that dont know(this would be everyone) i work at a day spa. in some of the photos where i am taking my picture in the mirror i am actually in our facial room. note the backround.
i love the yellow heels. was on the fence about them when i picked them up. now i vow to wear them more.

i cant get enough of my minnetonkas! i love both colors .. i have brown and black . the are like slippers. although if anyone plans on getting a pair keep in mind that they are suede and they will stretch. i normally wear a 7 1/2 but i got both pairs in a seven and at first they were a little tight but now! they. are. like. BUTTER!
oh and about the outfit. …. again wrestling with being a morning person by nature. the gray dress is layered over a tunic type dress that shrunk a littlle… too bit. damn cotton!

ughh! drab photo quality and drab outfits. this day i couldnt sleep because i have stopped going out as much and so i am suffering from insomnia and was up at five am. OBVIOUSLY! i got this denim something thrifting the other week and i promise to give it a little more love.
