It’s a dress. Some girl at school, loves to comment on what I wear. I tend to laugh at it ‘cause it’s coming from someone who wears XXXL pink tartan school-girl skirts with her rather large chest hanging out everyday. Imagine. It’s not a pretty picture.
On a different note.
It snowed today! I was so happy. I love snow. It was only a little powder but it was nice to wake up to a little frost.
This is what I wore. For the last few weeks, dress code at school has been pretty relaxed and I’ve been dying to wear my oxfords and tights for the longest time. And it was my parents’ 18th wedding anniversary, so we went out to dinner, which wasn’t that good.

Inspiration: American Graffitti.
I watched the movie last night with my dad. He was so happy, he told me that’s how his high school years were. It was the most precious thing to hear him reminice about his past. But the most adorable thing ever was when he brought my mum in the living room and started dancing with her to the song play on the television. Also, I thought that was how America was, before I moved here. I guess I was a little naive about that. Anyways, I love everything about the movie. Seriously. So this morning I tried to wear a higher waisted skirt and a sweater because it was cold and rainy this morning, which I kinda copied from the scene in the movie where the school dance takes place.
But of course I had to wear heels (as usual), which I fell in today.
Now, I am watching something about the late 1960s. I loved that era, mostly for the music, though. I just love the imagery and experimentation that that time had with its music. So I’ll probably end up with some kind of interesting outfit tomorow. We’ll have to see.
Sweater: Sandwich
Skirt: Forever 21
Shoes: Spring
Earrings: vintage
P.S. If I haven’t hinted at it enough, American Graffitti is magical.

Bought this skirt, this past weekend. Like the pattern a lot.
Sorry for the odd face, my mum took the picture, it was taking too long.

Bad weekend. the discovery of co-ed confidential, a parking garage and a funeral.
It’s been cold, the radiators are turned on and I feel horrible. But somehow I feel like things are getting better.

Yeah, finally I’ve decided to stop cropping my pictures. Here’s my face.
I was freezing yesterday, so I decided to wear tights, first time since I did ballet, which was like 3 years ago. Anyways, I was warm. They look opaque, but the camera decided that they wouldn’t be.
It was also my first time wearing my not-so-new heels. I bought them in July but they stayed in my closet until today.
And the same thing for my coat. My mum found it at Forever 21 in May or April, for twenty dollars.
All in all, I guess today was good day. I got compliments on the shoes and someone said my legs looks skinny, that I look french (the kids at school give the weirdest compliments) and my mum had to add that I looked like a model.
Wow.
Maybe hosiery does change your life.
Coat: Forever 21
Sweater: my mum’s (Talbot)

Scarf: some little stand in Peru
