i got this lace top/cape/cover-up whatever you call it :P at the Elizabeth and James sample sale :) it was a sample that never got made but i fell in love at first sight!! i just loved playing with the sleeves lol. as you can tell hahaha. the bottom isn’t quite finished, i might go get that fixed or leave it as it is.. we’ll see :):)

also there was like sharpie stain on like the bottom of one sleeve (not a huge one, definitely washable) but i asked about it and they gave me like a 60% discount on it! woohoo!

so my fellow intern and i went to the met like 4 weeks ago (I’ve been having problems uploading pictures, hence the back logged pictures) and this is what i wore! we took these pictures ont he roof right by the Jeff Koons exhibit :)

the shoes i love, i got from the street markets back home in hong kong. i love that they’re an interesting twist to the gladiator sandal. plus they cost less than 10 USD and they’re soooo comfortable! :) great shoes for the weekend considering i spend all week in heels! :)

FINALLY AN UPDATE!!!

oh man i’ve been having lots of issues uploading pictures from my laptop. i thought it may be a problem with the lack of hard drive space on my computer but i’ve cleaned it up a little and i’m still having problems. so now i’m uploading my pictures onto photobucket and pasting the links here until i figure out how to properly upload pictures. but finally here are the prada shoes! :)

wow i’ve been trying to upload these pictures for like 2 days!! i’m gonna add picture by picture so hopefully it works this time :P (be patient i’m uploading pics one at a time and its pretty brutal :P)

so anyway, my boss sent me to go spy on YSL to check up on their Edition 24 line which is supposed to be a capsule collection that has a lower price point. so anyway, i went to the YSL on 57th, and on my way back to the subway i decided to pop into Bergdorfs.

BAD IDEA.

HUFE shoe rack with shoes 60%+ off. saw the crazy black/white balenciaga gladiators (they don’t look very good on). and lots of Prada’s Spring/Summer 08 shoes. i guess cos they’re a little out there.

but i LOVED the line and i couldn’t resist trying them on. thats always a bad idea. and then you know what’s worse? when you’re trying on shoes, and random people tell you they look good. LOL.

so anyway, i decided to go with a classic pair, hopefully one to last a long time :)

aaandd, i am poor now :P

wore this to work today, well not technically to work, since i have developed the new york habit of wearing flats to work and changing into heels when i get there. the fear of scruffing up the beautiful patent leather and getting knocked over by crazy new yorkers has knocked some good sense into me. also considering i have chronic knee and ankle problems (from many many years of dancing, gymnastics and cheerleading) it gives my legs some relief. hahaha.

so today i used my pucci mens tie as a headband, i love the print so much but i rarely wear it these days cos i don’t wear those colours all that much anymore. but i got it at one of the typical amazing sales back home in hk :)

so yeaaaa.. thats about it. :)

haha i went to the Staerk sample sale and somehow unintentionally bought this whole look without even knowing it LOL. the pants are amazing and i love the jacket :):) will post pictures when i end up wearing my new buys! :) xoxo

i loveee this dress. i found it at beacon’s closet. i am in love with the print :) it was a little big on me but i just HAD to buy it, so i belted it to make it fit better :) i didn’t wanna be too indecent at work, so i added the tights and wore flats instead of heels! :)
