I have been reminded by lulu that i’ve been effectively m.i.a for over a month now so i thought i’d better put something up before i was declared clinically dead.
The exams that have kept me strapped to my textbooks are finally over and i am free..FREE, well not actually, i’m working all this week too,ah well.
Hamlet-esque blouse picked up this morning in Beyond Retro after visiting the lovely Columbia Road flower market and stocking up on bagels.
My new favourite corsage ( despite the visions corsages summon up of unfortunate 90’s prom films – or is that just me?) on a leather jacket, and barely visible brown ankle boots.
Oh and on the mantle piece are wind-up racing grannies – fun for all the family. xxx

Overslept this morning so running late i just grabbed a faded shirt stolen from my dad ( hence the oversizedness) and plaited my hair a bit in attempt to save the outfit from total boredom.
The shirt gives me massive bat wings but oh well, other than that just blue skinnies and vintage suede shoes – but at least i got lots of work done.
I seem to have stopped wearing jewellery which is very upsetting.

Wore this to the theatre, sort of pretty/gothic i suppose.
Socks again, i find they jazz up most outfits.
Floaty skirts and dresses are everywhere at the moment and i love those with a high waist but i have noticed:
flouncy skirt + wind = problem. capisce?
I for one don’t want to spend all summer with my knickers showing. As i walked to the theatre past all the South End bars i did feel very self concious clutching at my dress but that probably wasn’t helped by my prancing along humming ’ you’re moma’s on crack’ – a song my friend played me the other day , please don’t listen to it, you’ll waste 4 minutes of your life you can never get back x

So, this is a picture of the outfit previously described. I can’t seem to get my whole self into the frame so i’ll keep working on that.
Fairly simple Jean Seburg inspired outfit but i only popped round to see a friend today, to cheer me up ( the weather here is VILE ) . We cyber-shopped and chose many a thing that we’ll most likely never actually buy.

Dug out this old zara dress to see if wearing it with a high-neck t-shirt would make it more ‘victoriana-y’.
Added grey long socks ( which always earn me funny looks, does anyone else find that?) and loafers to uglify.
Dress: Zara
T-shirt: Bp
Belt: Urban Outfitters
Loafers: Vintage
(Excuse the dark picture, i’ve yet to get the hang of this)
