I’m back after the mudfest that was Bestival 2008. The moral of the story here is to invest in a beautiful pair of Hunter wellies. Thank you Hunter. You saved more than just my ass on several occasions. No doubt they will survive Glastonbury 2009 unscathed.

Hat-hair aside, I can safely say that it is actually possible to look stylish without showering for days. Hey, it’s a true test.

As for the music. I was transfixed. Layo and Bushwacka! live – what a fine example you set. Unfortunately though, due to reasons which we really can’t be going into right here right now [unless of course, you come to London – then I might consider it over some Carluccio’s cioccolata, some Wahaca chicken tortilla soup or even Cha Cha Moon noodles] I missed a fair few decent DJ sets [e.g Mr legendary worldwide – Gilles Peterson] and other such shit hot acts. Ok it was through some fault of my own too, but someone out there will not be forgiven and he knows who he is, don’t you?..

And now I present to you a sample of what the UK has to offer [And you thought it was just Susie Bubble (Miss Bubble and I share the same secondary school and believe me..she was just as stylish back then as she is now), Topshop and Luella eh..] – A sample of the sound of Dubstep. Get to know it. It’s a gift.
