this dress reminds me of a pair of amazing betsey johnson wedges that I helped obtain for somebody else.. and then kicked myself afterwards because I could never find another pair in my size.. le sigh.
anyway, little story about what I love about these boots.. they can make anything look good.

Tonight I am going to a Vivienne Westwood trunk show at this store called Em & Co. I’m going with my friend Vanessa is who always decked to the nines..

me: “what are you going to wear tonight?”
V: “I’m not sure, I’m still deciding between a few outfits.”
me: “I always have to wear my tallest heels when I know I’m going to be with you.”
V: “well, I am going to be wearing my Vivienne Westwood shoes.. and a Viv outfit.. I just don’t know which one.”
me: “ok but is it going to be all crazy and poofy?”
V: “yeah, I mean.. I’m always over the top.. but it’s going to be in a store so I don’t want to be TOO over the top you know? Oh my god, I can’t believe I just said that. I want to punch myself for saying I don’t want to be too over the top.”

A few days ago I was getting dressed in an extreme hurry and I somehow managed to step one leg into the small trash can in my bedroom and fell over. I don’t know how I let that happen but I have an island of a bruise on my leg right now from it. I almost posted a photo but then decided against it because it’s pretty gross. That story had nothing to do with this outfit, I just thought I would share.

I went to a party last night for the Roy & Enda Disney/CalArts Theater and it was outdoors so I took that opportunity to just wear my coat. Who cares what’s underneath? If I had cared a little bit more I probably wouldn’t have felt uncomfortable getting out of my car to get gas without my coat on.. it’s not that fun to drive in this one. or sit. or I guess do anything except stand around somewhere cold. for the record I do have clothes on underneath..

Anyway, there was some kind of underwater opera performance art going on in the pool. I don’t know. I wish I had a better explanation but I couldn’t see anything over the crowd.
It was kind of like going to a concert, how I have just accepted the fact that unless there is a balcony, even in some of my highest heels I will not be able to see any of the action.

f21 shoes are prob the most uncomfortable things ever but I could not say no to $25 5.5inchers..
I cannot shun things that make me look tall.

I was watching the movie Freaks the other night and I’m kind of obsessed with it.
check out my blog to see a clip from it where of a guy with no arms or legs lights a cigarette. I know I sound creepshow but it’s really amazing to watch.

today I witnessed my friend tell her mother:
“my art doesn’t get me laid”

I thought it was a pretty bold statement
