With the weather cooling down, I decided to pull out a sweater I haven’t worn in months. I decided to pair it with a mesh scarf to add some texture.

Nothing really special happened today. Just hung out with a couple of friends and tried to enjoy the weather. I decided to throw on this new blazer I got from some thrift store. The color is pretty much immaculate, despite the fact that it almost matches the carpet in this picture. But the fit is absolutely amazing. Being that I am, on average, a pretty small guy, it’s very hard to find jackets, let alone blazers, that fit me perfectly.

i’m sure by now most of you know how i feel about the hot weather. i fucking hate it. in fact, during most hot days, i force myself to sleep so i won’t have to deal with the heat, dreaming of the day where i can start layering again.

to sum up the outift—i basically took the cue from lulu and bought myself a pack of basic hanes v-neck shirts. i can go on for days wearing this and i also find it rather amusing to try and come up with ways to make this mundane piece of clothing look new.

While Linda and I were at In-N-Out for some catching up last night, we decided to sneak into the Hilton Inn for an impromptu photoshoot. It was perfect timing too since I finally found a pair of the perfect beat up Doc Martens boots I had been dreaming of for some time now.

And since Bay Area weather is never predictable, I had on a grey vintage blazer which will be getting a lot of use during the colder season.

Summer… Where Are You??

The mother and I were watching Gilligan’s Island the other night and although I didn’t find the show the least bit entertaining, Gilligan’s outfit definitely caught my attention.

The shirt I got from Buffalo Exchange a while back and was looking for the perfect opportunity to wear it. I had originally planned on wearing it for my trip to the Maldives, but then quickly realized that I was dreaming. Although, if I were to ever find myself stranded in some island off the coast of the Indian Ocean, I certainly wish to be wearing this outfit.

I was stuck at home all day finishing up a Jack Kerouac novel. I then scoured my closet looking for clothes that I imagine a modern Kerouac would wear. Anyone down for Big Sur?
