I wish I could pretend the crappiness of this photo was a reference to 90s grunge, but it’s just crap. And I can’t seem to avoid red-eye.

This is my workwear. Every day it’s an American Apparel pencil skirt in black or blue, tights, ankle boots and a checked shirt (I have many). Fortunately, as it’s journalism it doesn’t matter too much.

I love these, I’ve worn them every single day since I bought them. Fortunately they’re fine for work.

Middle: Topshop Skiathos platform boots.
My birthday shoes! But I’m too scared to wear them to a club again in case I ruin them. I think they’re very Ashley Olsen and I wish I could wear them more.

Bottom: Office Annie Get Your Gun lace-up boots
My new boots! I haven’t worn them out yet and they badly need some grip adding so I don’t fall over on the way to work. But they are beautiful. I’m not madly keen on the shape of the heel, but I love the rest of the style.

The weather is pants today, I wanted to go for a walk and take more photos with my Diana but it’s just not happening.
