Today I wore my sequined dress and a swing coat from my grandmother. The coat was basically my blanket for the day and kept me so warm and cozy.

I wish I could take a picture of how much this dress sparkles in the sun.

Today I wore my fake leather jacket for the first time in a year. I avoided wearing it for so long because it made a horrible annoying squeaking noise whenever I moved. But thanks to a Google search and a bottle of lotion, the squeaking is gone :)
It was finally cold enough outside that I could wear my fuzzy hat and not sweat to death. The hat proved to be useful when napping on the BART train.

I wish I was better at taking pictures of my outfits.

This skirt is so great. It has one huge pocket kind of deal that sticks out on the sides and the whole things has a cool kind of finish to it.
I got this shirt before school this morning. It has cute tuxedo like tucks on it and was waiting for me in Goodwill.

I bought this antique beaded collar sometime back in September and I finally wore it to school today.

I also wore this to watch everyone go crazy over the new Comme des Garçons clothes in the H&M on Powell street. It was actually fairly amusing, some people were dressed up and I saw some people hoarding arm fulls of polka dotted sweaters and shirts. I came in too late to even see any of the jackets or the crazy dress, but when I came back around 4 I found a few items someone had returned and grabbed them to at least try them on.

And although I didn’t have enough money to get anything spotted, I did end up buying a great full navy wool skirt that I’ve been admiring for months now. And it was only $17, I’m pretty sure that was a sign the big beautiful skirt gods heard my begging.

Today I wanted to look like an equestrian lady/poet.
I find that picking out an outfit is so much more fun when you make up a character for the outfit :)
