So my boyfriend bought me these perfect driving gloves from Agent Provocateur. Oh yes, he’s good.

Now…an outfit to wear them with….

Update: I had to take them back. I was in denial that my tiny hands did not fill the gloves and I couldn’t get them to look good with anything. It was sad (I cried), but now I have store credit for some fancy shmancy lingerie!

I wore my new coat to work today. I needed an actual coat and haven’t had one in forever. I’m glad I got it because it was damn cold. I mean, I know Iowa weather, and it’s like -20 there right now, but it was 45 degrees in Berkeley and windy and rainy.

Now I need gloves, but I am specific and want riding gloves that stop before the wrist.

I also busted out the fancy cowboy boots to keep my feet warm. Another thing I am in desperate need of: good flats. They are hard to come by…

I saw CSS last night. This is what I wore. I was running really late to meet up with my boyfriend and couldn’t decide what to wear. I decided to throw this in a bag and change at his store. This way, I could run to the store after I got off the bart.

My boyfriend was playing Sinatra over the speakers and had a bottle of wine waiting for me. Unfortunately, when I got there, I felt so icky and out of breath. Not sexy.

I threw this on; he loved it, so I went with it. I also scored some sweet sunglasses and a snake ring. Yay for a boyfriend who runs a store! I can’t wait to see what he brings back from LA on Monday.

CSS was alright. Not as good as when I saw Yelle. Then we went to Mr. Bings and played a drinking game. Bad idea.

Anyway, I loved rocking my new shoes!

I was a tourist today while my boyfriend’s family is in town. On today’s agenda: the night tour of Alcatraz. Pretty rad. I’m a big museum nerd, and I love history, so I really did like it. It is a well done tour

I am inspired by Mary-Kate and Ashley on a daily basis. They serve as great role models too! MK has always been my favorite of the duo, but lately Ashley has been more inspiring fashion-wise. At their book signing, I loved Ashley’s shiny pants and simple white top. I’ve been looking everywhere for pants like these.
In addition, she looked amazing and so edgy in her Marie Claire shoot a while back. It made me want to make my boyfriend give me awesome hair and take pictures (he’s a hair stylist).
I also wanted to post the first outfit I saw her wear that I wanted to recreate for myself.

I want to be as tiny, cute, fun, beautiful and wealthy as they are. Think of all the clothes I could buy!!! And to be friends with Karl Lagerfeld and Marc Jacobs? Sign me up!

I decided to wear all black today. I just bought this shirt recently, and I love it. I normally don’t wear baggy things, but this seemed to work so well with my skinny jeans and harley boots.

And I once again did the side fishtail braid. I’m having a lot of fun with it, and I’m going to braid my friend’s hair. Yes, we paint each other’s nails from time to time. And soon we’ll be braiding hair. And so what if we’re in our 20s?

I realized I haven’t said much on this site and rather just posted pictures. So, I’ll say a little. Raised in the midwest and now living in California. Going to grad school. Living with my boyfriend and best friend. And I work full time. Busy life.

I write about everyday stuff in my blog at www.jennielodge.blogspot.com but it’s not too exciting, I’ll admit.

Anyway, here I am. I am addicted to this site and constantly inspired to try new clothes. I’m realizing I have a shoe problem. I want them all.
