“I can’t tell if this is really bad or really awesome.” – the Boyfriend

I can’t either. All I know is that it is incredibly comfortable and warm. I’m so glad the weird warm weather is finally gone. The way it happened was pretty neat, too. One moment it was in the high 70s and next thing you know the fog rolls in and it’s freezing!

This is also the debut of my fur collar, yay! I took it from a jacket that fit weirdly. I’m a little wary because it’s real but eh, at least it’s recycled.

ROFL my boyfriend tried on my cardigan and wants to steal it from me.

Last one, I promise. I’m off to see a production of Dr. Faustus! I just bought this dress for $5 and paired it with the same black heels I wore today and a Bottega Veneta clutch.

I am on a roll today. No, I’m just bored. I just received a vintage Frye backpack that I bought from someone on Livejournal!

I’m super obsessed with these khaki pants that I got on sale from H&M. They had a buy one get one free deal so I guess these were free? I also bought a wonderful blue wool skirt that I had been wanting for a while! These pants are a nice alternative to the tight black jeans I usually wear.

I’ve also been having a lot of luck with vintage items, too! This vintage doctor bag is AMAZING. The ones I’ve been looking at on ebay usually go for $100 and this one was a steal at $15! Keep an eye out for a few more vintage pieces that I scored!

Friday’s outfit! Went to Cha-Ya in the Mission for some yummy vegan Japanese food and then out for coffee. This was actually quite the eventful weekend which is a nice change from being locked up in an apartment Friday afternoon to Monday morning translating Plato. Too bad I happened to look particularly unphotogenic this weekend as well.

I look constipated in all of these pictures. This is why I suck at posing. Getting back into the loop is proving to be a little hard since prior to this I was only really updating once or twice a month. Next week’s goal is to aim for updating at least once a day.

Like I said, lately it’s been nothing but solid colors (mostly black) and these booties. I’m really scared wearing them out since that’s what happened to my tan cutout ones this summer. There are holes in the soles :/

Also, I found a new location for taking outfit pics! The kitchen’s alright but I really like this wall in my building’s parking lot. No one can also see me ridiculously taking pictures of myself either (I think).

Anyway, so Connie and I decided that we are going to go ahead with the video posts. We’ll be filming them tomorrow so just go to EverybodyIsUgly to ask me ANYTHING. Yes, ANYTHING. Expect the videos to be up tomorrow night or Saturday morning.
