So it took about a week but I’m finally settled in my new house. There is much more space and I’ve used the unfinished half of my attic room for a closet. It looks like a store! I can’t believe I had actually crammed all of that in my other little room. Definitely need to downsize. There is still a lot more organizing to do but hopefully I will be back to posting more often. Here I’m about to go to a local band’s album release party – Baby Birds Don’t Drink Milk

Sorry for the lack of posts lately, I am getting ready to move this weekend and have been in the process of cleaning out my current house and cleansing myself of all the accumulated junk that I do not need. It’s amazing how much you can acquire and not even notice till you have to clean it up. I did have my first yard sale ever on Saturday and it was just as much fun as I was hoping. Nothing’s better than making some cash on things you were just going to give away. Anyway, to the junk I have recently accumulated that I am not going to give away:

I’ve been getting very bored with summer clothes and tried here to think of something a little less “summery” that is still wearable in our excruciating heat (100F/humid). The loose fit and thin fabric of these pants and shirt worked great.
