I’m not dead! We went down to Atlanta last weekend and decided over night to move there, in December, so as you can imagine I’ve been busy trying to get my house cleaned up and ready to sell. We’re excited about it, albeit nervous. I have lots of stories, but little time. This is an incomplete photo of my outfit, as it was worn with my black over-sized AA pocket cardi, a black knit scarf, and my black beret. No worries, the only thing that was blacked out was my clothes, not me. I did housework all day yesterday, and then went out last night. Naturally, I wanted to wear all my new clothes. I am in total love with the AA U neck dress. It’s super flattering. I’m wearing my new lamé leggings, and the Silence and Noise jacket that I ordered a while ago. I was going to send it back because the sleeves were a little too long, but I decided that I liked it anyway.

Also, has anyone else seen that really neat Prada ad? It’s on youtube as well as my blog. It’s just really lovely. I don’t know if I would call it an ad exactly.

What does love have to do with it? I don’t bloody know. All I know is that I have worn p-jammers all day long and ordered out twice. Ugh. I’ve started eating real food again, and by real I mean unhealthy, in the manner of reubens and tacos. Noooo. I’ve been really healthy for a long time now, and I refuse to fall back into the pizza/enchilada trap. And I won’t be able to wear clothes for photos if I do so. Ex-nay on the fat-ay.

Now before anyone foams at the mouth, don’t get me wrong… food = good. But junk food is just like crack. Useless, degenerate, and bad for you. Once again, don’t get me wrong. I love the occasional splurge as much as the next lady, but seriously, I feel so much better when I eat actual food, you know that stuff that nourishes your body. Which I haven’t been doing. Eat healthy and vote. The end. Of self-righteous and simultaneously self-depreciating rant.

Yes, I did. I assume a kindergarten teacher owned this before I did. I also assume I look way more shmex than she did. What with my high heels and lion bling and wayfarers. No, but really, this is a ridiculous jumpsuit. And I love love love it all the more for it. I’ve worn it out a couple of times, and I think it’s time to give it a new life, a new home, a new… sob I’ll miss it so much. Not that anyone “gets” it, but still. I have an esoteric relationship with this romper and it’s going to be a bit of a heart break when/if I end up parting with it.

Breaking news: I finally figured out the HTML I needed to make my listings as I would like them. What this means: I might actually have a few listings up and running by tomorrow evening. If I’m not too hungover/drunk/stupid. Who knows! I don’t! It’s myyyysterrrry….. (that is supposed to be read in a scary Master Shake voice). fyi.

This little green velvet mini dress is another gem that I must part with in the store. It’s something I would have loved as a child and still love now. It looks especially nice belted with classy shoes and, naturally, a hat. The possibilities felt endless. Style these shoots is so freaking hard because I always want to try the pieces with like ever accessory I own. It’s so hard to choose which shoes/hat/belt/glasses/socks/tights combo is the best. Hopefully I can get the ebay listings up by Tuesday. I don’t know anymore. I’m such a spaz. Maybe I’m just procrastinating because I don’t want to part with anything, lolz.

Hello hello. I’ve spent the day recovering from my weekend, as per usual. Also, as per usual, I am no good at dead lines. I don’t even know why I bother to set them for myself. So I am further pushing back my store opening to the middle of the week. I’m a perfectionist, and I want my listings to be the best they can be, and I’m just not satisfied with it yet.

That said, this rad pea coat will be for sale once we finally put up the listings. It’s tweed with puffy shoulders and pleats. It’s so fantastic and as I’m so expertly demonstrated could even be worn without pants. Though I would recommend a mini underneath so as to not be a creepy flasher person. I also just scored these black vintage boots. I am in love with them. I was going to sell them but I just can’t bring myself to. I get rid of a lot of stuff that I love, so I’m allowed to keep some for myself. If only they were over the knee they would be perfect. I would pass out; they would be that perfect. Alas.
