Two things.
One is that I’m trying to see how many days I can go without wearing black. The weather is cooling down, shops are empty despite xmas season, I want to wear and see more vibrant colors to compensate for the otherwise gloomy surroundings.
Two is the I had the absolute worst experience at Kinko’s in San Francisco today. I went there to print a deck of business cards (with the file ready) but ended up hanging out there for TWO hours. The first staff that helped me had no idea what he was doing, and quoted me the wrong price twice.
I came home distraught and complained to Ricky for another half hour.
My roommate has a very good phrase to use when she wants to cool down: Serenity now!
I wish it was that easy :-)

I just got back from a trip to the Midwest, where there was snow on the ground and I felt cold even under my cashmere sweater. It was soooo nice to feel the warm breeze in San Francisco today. What a relief to not have to worry about frost bite when walking outside!
It was 75 degrees today and my neighborhood park was so packed that it looked like there were people growing out of grass. This is not common weather for San Francisco at this time of the year, but a good reason to delay my winter shopping. We only have another week of warm weather, and I’m already starting to miss the season of flowery dresses. Oh well, I’ll just resort to living vicariously by looking through photos of flairtoremember” from the other end of the globe.

The sweetest words I heard today – a user came up to another Chictopian I was with on the street and said: I saw you on Chictopia, and you are so chic!
She even made a cute motion to click on the chic box. Awww, that made my day.

It rained all day in San Francisco today. I only got dressed to go pick up mail. I’m a cashmere hog these days. Seriously, why layer if you can get away with one piece of clothing that keeps you warm all around. Or, layer if you want to, but for decor, not for survival :-)

Don’t forget to change your clock forward one hour this weekend. I sure am looking forward to that extra hour of sleep!

I just realized that I have been wearing all black for the past few weeks. Mostly because it’s always safe to experiment with fabric, cut, and material all within the same color. No matter what the material and shape, black will always go with black. So here it is, my black bubble dress with black work blazer. I swear I’ll post a rainbow colored outfit in the near future.

I lounged around in my favorite T-shirt all day. Found out at the last minute that we have a friend in town and that I needed to get dressed to go out. I’m kind of proud of what I put together in a few minutes. I somehow managed to make a going out outfit from a big T-shirt. Saved some washing detergent, some water, and ultimately, the earth – from global warming.
