This is what I wore for the plane flight to WA. I swear I’m not trying to channel the grunge era with plaid and converse, but it does seem to coming out in me. Maybe it’s subconscious or maybe it is just a natural reaction to rain and cooler weather…

I’m in Washington State and loving life. It’s raining but my parents new house is AMAZING! (My father is in the military, so they move every three years and this is my first time visiting them in Washington State—though I lived in a different part of WA in junior high for a couple of years.) I’m also eating tons of delicious food! Last night alone I devoured: teriyaki chicken, sticky rice, vegetable tempura, and gyoza. Yum!
P.S. This my favorite vintage dress.

I had my last night clubbing with girls before I fly. We always seem to attract the crazies. One guy requested a friend take her shoes off so he could see if she was too tall for him (sorry she’s just too attractive for your short a**)! Some others tried to sneakily video tape our dancing with their camera phones. ???? And another insisted on getting a picture of us because we looked like the “Romanian gymnists from the Olympics.” For sure…

It’s the last day of work today. (Yes, let’s celebrate!)
It’s been a wild couple of days: visa worries, packing, getting kicked out of my room, friends woes, getting gin spilled on me, etc. I’m looking forward to a (hopefully!) relaxing time soon.
I also thought I’d look back a bit. So the last two pictures are what I looked like a year ago (more at my blog, but you already knew that right?). I’m actually wearing the same scarf in the first picture and you see how short I am compared to a normal-sized human being in the last shot! And no, I didn’t have glasses then. Oh and they were taken in Japan, by other people for once!

Life is full of surprises…unfortunately not all of them are good. Ugh!
Might be in Europe in four weeks…might be back in PA…but I will be in Washington State Sunday!

So, my “Bulletproof” necklace has been getting a lot of attention lately. I got it several Christmas’s ago as a gift from my mother (by request) and don’t wear it nearly enough.
