I’m usually quite opposed to wearing opaque cropped leggings, but since I could not find any clean tights and have no idea where my AA lame leggings are, I had to settle for these with a pair of shorts as the shirt is not quite long enough for me to wear as a dress.

No coffee yet this morning which makes me feel like the day is not starting off properly.

Must remedy this.

I’ll walk over to Panera and crab a bagel and coffee, it’s about a 6-8 block walk to the park and Panera. I should stop by the Library as well and return a very very overdue history book. sigh

Two posts today!

HAHA. I have to laugh a little at myself. To be honest I’m really quite lazy about photographing my outfits. Sometimes I will wear something I feel is really quite cute but can’t be motivated enough to click on the studio lights and turn on the camera.

I literally rolled out of bed and threw this on. I couldn’t find my black skinny jeans so I forgot I had these black trousers. My feet were cold last night, so I just kept my socks on and threw on ballet flats.

The sweater was lying on the floor, my hat on a chair, and the shirt… ahh I did have to dig that out of one of my dressers (I have THREE!)

And since my favorite Chloe sunglasses suffered an early death last week, I have been keen on wearing these vintage ones since.

I woke up Tuesday morning and welcomed a much wanted chill in the weather.

Finally! I could wear layers without feeling ridiculous or boil up. It only reached 66 Degrees yesterday, so I was still able to wear a dress. I do have to restock on some winter must-haves such as tights and turtlenecks.

At the moment my hands are freezing, despite the warmth from my everyday cup of “Mojo Jojo”. I relish in this weather though. It’s cold but not bone numbing cold.

Very excited for the change in the weather!

There are a few stray cats that wander around the neighborhood and one of them I have grown quite fond of and named her (maybe it’s a he) Ginger.

She’s on the small side, orange, and the only cat that will actually come up to me.

This morning Ginger got into a big scuffle. Right underneath my house. sigh

Apparently a big bully cat wanted to take over Ginger’s napping turf (on a ledge in my backyard) and Ginger stood her ground, but I’m pretty sure one of them ended up being hurt.

When I see her around again I’m going to leave treats outside, poor Ginger. And if I see that big brown bully cat I’m going to chase it with a broom. hehe Just kidding. Sort of.

So pouty in this photo. hehe

This shirt was a really lovely surprise. One of my vintage buyers included this in the box for me, she must be starting a t-shirt line since the label is her name.

This shirt is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! It’s soft, it’s slouchy, it’s that silky cotton feel… and it was freeeeee.

Finally got new skinny black pants (Forever21) I had a beautiful pair from Zara but in two days the zipper decided to crap out on me sigh My only complaint on these pants are they’re a bit too short… oh well.

This outfit is so frickin comfortable. Dare I say more comfortable than my usual uniform of a dress and ballet flats?

Hair is getting long, in a few months it will probably be waist length. Don’t know if I’ll be able to survive Florida heat with THAT much hair (it’s 88 today… it’s frickin October!)

Luckily the nearly daily rains bring a bit of cool solace.
