These platforms were a dream come true when I saw them online, I adore their color! But, after just one wear the ankle strap broke off the shoe! I tried to fix it, sewed it, only to have the other break as well!

Upon close investigation it just looks like their downfall was due to weak elastic and poorly supported pleather/plastic. All the pressure of walking pulls on the ankle strap, until, they end up useless! Too floppy to wear without the straps.

So, although for style and design they are Rock star shoes, they just didn't hold up in everyday life. I received a lot of compliments when I was able to wear them though!
