I realized that I kind of missed the date. =[
Silly me. This is what happens when you get so caught up in school work and sewing!
you miss out on all of these fun little contests!
But if I would’ve entered, this would’ve been the outfit.
It’s all Forever 21! =D
The second photo is a close up of my jewelry that I am wearing. The third photo is of the new skirt I made!

I made this dress. I was inspired by ruffled haute couture gowns, and I thought, why don’t I take this, and give it a modern spin? This is what I came up with.

REVAMP ME! Add as Favorite Photo

so basically here’s what happened. I saw this shirt at Macy’s and I feel in love with the fringe. I decided to buy it and revamp it. It was a size large and instead of shortening it, I left the length alone and made it into a shirt dress. There were originally 3 tiers of fringe, but I cut the bottom layer off because it reached past the bottom of the shirt. I trimmed the sides of the second layer so that it would give me a slimming effect instead of just being really loose on me. And viola! I got this! Hoep you like it! I haven’t revamped anything in a while!

I’m upset. I planned on making two dresses today, and two tomorrow to list on Etsy. But, my wonderful sewing machine decided to break and now I have to get a new one tomorrow. =[ So, tomorrow is essentially hell day for me because I have four dresses to make. And I promised my friends I would chill with them! Oh no! What to do! Plus, I need a work out. Ugh. I don’t know if you can tell, but I sure am getting fatter, or at least weaker for that matter. In school, I at least did kickboxing, racquetball and badminton. At home, I just eat. Oh god, I can’t imagine how bad summer will be. Eeek! Anyways, as for my title, Model United Nations was my life in high school. It sort of is in college as well. I am very focused on it. This is one of my outfits for one of the conferences I attended. Think the flowers are okay?
By the way, the little girl in the fourth picture hiding behind me is my sister. She’s a very cute and annoying 5 year old soon to be a 6 year old. =]
And yes, this is my new haircut! =D

It's T. Paine! COMMON SENSE DUH. Add as Favorite Photo

Today is the day that Thomas Paine wrote his pamphlet Common Sense! Now you know how much of a political science/history freak I am! My friends and I always used to joke about him, calling him T. Paine and all. We actually came up with nicknames of almost all of the important figures in history, mainly those who lived twenty years before and after the Philadelphia Convention. Benjamin Franklin is Benjy, James Madison is J. Mad, George Washington is GW, Thomas Jefferson is TJ and I can go on and on and on. Lol. So anyways, I worked on more of my items today, listed a children’s bracelet and I finished a wrap dress, which I will list on Tuesday hopefully. I hope you all had a fantastic weekend; I have to sleep now. Have to work at 10 AM in the morning tomorrow! At the other job… Sigh. I need rest!
