The heatwave+constant california fires make for a super untolerable environment. Now is the time of year where I long for the sweet cold air of autumn. I haven’t been this excited about an arrival of a shoe in a while. They are just as perfect as I imagined: substantial, comfortable, and ridiculous all at once. I’ve already planned a bunch of outfits around them in my brain. so good.
Next order of business, purchase luggage. Why do they only make ugly rolling carryons?

Finally after almost 3 weeks of gloom, we see a nice hot June day. I am having the biggest ice cream craving right about now.

World, meet my new favorite shoes. Oh and they’re super comfortable too. We were meant to be together. Also, I have only recently come to realize that I have a natural inclination towards anything one shouldered, in fact in high school I designed my own prom dress and it was asymmetrical. The thing I like most about the AA asymmetrically dress is that it can easily be dressed down. I wore it to the beach and it was very comfortable on my very badly burnt skin.
If you’re in the LA area this weekend I’ll be selling a few things at the blogger flea market this Sunday May 31st at Space15twenty . Come join the fun!

Tortoise is really hard to work with, especially when it’s the color of your new shoes. I’m having a love/hate relationship with these shoes.
Also, I’m glad everyone liked the last post, some of you are just way to sweet. I’m actually a total ding dong when it comes to hair/makeup. All I did for that twist thing was part my hair into two big sections, and twist. You can either leave it the way it is and it will unravel and get looser, or use a hair tie to secure it. Voila!
Oh and I’m featured in glamour.com’s tidbit about boyfriend blazers, go see it here . Thanks, Tracey!
