p.s. it had barely hit 60 degrees here in oregon when i took this photo at NOON and it was all dark and cloudy yesterday, so don’t think i’m being anti-spring…i’m just dressing for our weather! plus, neon nails + red lipstick = spring, right?

i got this vintage dress on ebay. for free. (long story) i love it. however, the skirt is deceptively short and blow-y (as illustrated in the photograph) so i have to wear booty shorts underneath, but i’m okay with that. i would have to wear them to bike anyway.

in more interesting news, i DIY-ed this shirt! and i love it! i wanted a shirt from bona drag that was similarly done, but could never work up the cash or the desire to drop $80 big ones on it. so i made my own. i’ll post a picture of the original inspiration at the bottom for comparison’s sake.

maybe i’ll be a little better about taking photos regularly (since it’s end-of-the-quarter time and i’d rather do that than write papers?)…

it was a rainy, icky, windy, cold day. screw you, oregon. i changed out my flats for my floral rainboots before setting out on my trek to the bus stop.

fun fact: this skirt is water repellent. just in case, you know?

this morning while layering up my tights i accidentally ripped these cheap-o, forever 21, plaid ones. then i decided i liked how it looked, and although you can’t really tell in the photo because of the black tights underneath, i ripped them up all over. i’m definitely a fan. i tore at them in my classes today so maybe the next time i wear them you’ll actually be able to see the holes.
