so this is a really late post of what i wore to my graduation ceremony.
while hunting for the perfect dress, i kept in mind several parameters.
first, i knew it was going to be scorching at the high school covered courts so i wanted a light fabric and a dress with no sleeves.
second, i wanted a printed dress. i knew everyone was gonna rock the black but i wanted something a lil bit more peppy and cheerful. it was a celebratory event after all.
finally, it had to be short as per the guidelines of our school. togas must be longer than the dress.
this topshop find was perfect! the open back kept me cool under the icky polyester toga.

in keeping with the “rockstyle” trend, i toughened it up with black platforms and a patent black bag. i kept the accessories spring-y and happy though (turquoise cuff from my grandma, random rings from my mom)!

sooo just back from my friend’s island in palawan recently.
it was a great way to de-stress after finals and thesis! i got burnt to a crisp and i now have to use more lotion in a day than a teenage boy uses in a week haha. ;p

our section in high school had its first reunion after 4 years yesterday. manila is hot, hot, hot and i am broke, broke, broke. so i pulled out this old gingham skirt that comes down to my shins and ruched the top part. fastened it with one of my bow pins and voila! a sweet, drapey, summer dress. funny thing is, this cloth is suspiciously similar to the cloth for our uniforms at my high school! haha how appropriate.

tomorrow is my graduation and it promises to be a loooong, dragging, hot, sweaty, sticky ceremony. ugh can’t wait

so i dont usually wear crazy revealing clothes but the high cut of this vint aerobics leotard kind of took control.

yesterday it was my buddy (and fellow chictopian) mikkos birthday party at ponti. his theme was coachella/cobra snake. there were girls dressed all boho-ey, some dressed more hardcore, some hipsters, boys in tank tops, some 80s, some 90s, and some looking like they just stepped out of the AA website.

the place was packed and people were sweaty but i had the greatest time ever. open bar with spiked azzuri, bend-me-overs, beer and other crazy cocktails all night long. i guess dressing a little bit out of your comfort zone makes you a little bit more crazy.

not to be disgusting but the vomit was all rainbow colored haha!

oh and you gotta love drama. random hook-ups and drunken conversations make for the best stories.
