I took a very long sabbatical from the internet/blogging/etc. I think I’m back. I can feel it in my bones. This was worn to drink coffee, wander my neighborhood, go see a band, drink beer, and paint. The skirt has owls on it. I still like owls. And mustaches.

As to where I’ve been, well, I’ve been lots of places. Portland, OR. Out on the town. Rehab. You know, the usual.

This is from about a month ago. Nothing special. Just an AA sexuali T, lamé leggings, Silence and Noise moto, bowler, and Guess boots. The photo was taken at the end of the night, and I was a little less than enthusiastic about it.

I was up till 8 AM last night, so I wore no outfit to speak of today unless bloodshot eyes and a rumpled plaid shirt count as an outfit. I’m watching Pulp Fiction for the billionth time and reinstalling cough Warcraft cough on my computer. Maybe geeking out on that will keep me from geeking out on other things.

So this is my usual Annie Hall style with tight pants and dominatrix boots. As I txt to a friend “it looks better than it sounds”. I find myself gravitating towards two styles in particular lately: menswear and architectural. I want manish tailoring or dramatic shapes. I think in the month that I’ve abstained from blogging, reading blogs, or otherwise looking at fashion on the internet, I’ve found my personal style a bit more. That’s not to say that I’m not still schizo, but I’m at a point where I really know what I want right now. I know whether or not something is “me”. I realized that the pretty vintage thing wasn’t really for me, at least not right now. So that was a relief.

Blogging takes up a lot of time, in my opinion, and I kind of had to think about whether this whole bloggy internet clothing thing was something I want to to, and it totally is. I just have to measure all my clothes to sell and see if anything happens with it. I’ve missed you all! (especially a certain few of you, to whom I give my most sincere apology for disappearing with no word)

Sooo… hey. It’s been over a month since I last blogged/posted/etc. Why? I don’t know why. I didn’t feel like it. That’s why. In the past month I have a lost a fedora in a bar fight, decided to not move because the economy is ballz, picked out a bunch of amazing clothes that I don’t get until xmas, and drank myself silly. Mostly drank myself silly. I think all the clothes I got this past weekend in Atlanta inspired me to start blogging again (riding pants, an awesome Marc Jacobs sequin flapper-esque dress, an awesome FCUK billowy sweater dress, and this rad leather Gradyn little jacket thingy). Among other things.

Wore this out last night. Fell asleep on the bar. Didn’t punch anyone. All in all a good night. I bought this scarf from the website Stars and Infinite Darkness (formely known as Virgin Threads) a couple of years ago, lost it for like two years, and found it again. It is my absolute favorite. It’s really tatty and deconstructed and I heart it so much. Otherwise I’m wearing my faux leather FCUK jacket, cheapo black skinnies, and my Guess Maeve boots from Solestruck, and an oversized AA t.

I might abandon you guys again, but I’m really hoping I won’t. I’m having an irish coffee and listening to the new Deerhunter. As you all should. Oh, and check out the song “5 Years From Now” by Noah and the Whale if you haven’t all ready. That song is my jam lately.

I’m not dead! We went down to Atlanta last weekend and decided over night to move there, in December, so as you can imagine I’ve been busy trying to get my house cleaned up and ready to sell. We’re excited about it, albeit nervous. I have lots of stories, but little time. This is an incomplete photo of my outfit, as it was worn with my black over-sized AA pocket cardi, a black knit scarf, and my black beret. A full explanation of my recent goings can be found on my blog:

No worries, the only thing that was blacked out was my clothes, not me. I did housework all day yesterday, and then went out last night. Naturally, I wanted to wear all my new clothes. I am in total love with the AA U neck dress. It’s super flattering. I’m wearing my new lamé leggings, and the Silence and Noise jacket that I ordered a while ago. I was going to send it back because the sleeves were a little too long, but I decided that I liked it anyway.

Also, has anyone else seen that really neat Prada ad? It’s on youtube as well as my blog. It’s just really lovely. I don’t know if I would call it an ad exactly.
