This top has been buried in the deep recesses of my wardrobe, and when it came up in conversation with a friend (we had both bought it together, some years ago), I knew I had to come home and dig it out. It’s actually a tube top, which I wore with a white tank to work yesterday.

Simple combination of my favourite basic pieces. It’s silly how much I shop and then end up wearing the same things over and over.
I actually took off the necklace in the end. You know, that whole remove one item before you leave the house thing.

Too little sleep + too little time in the morning = simple outfit. I had to go to a cocktail event tonight so I just threw on a dress.
So I was recounting my twisted ankle episode to some acquaintances, and as I’m going, “Yeah I sprained my ankle like two months ago..” there I am towering over them in my platform heels. I guess I’ll never be able to give them up!

Decided beforehand that I wanted to wear white and grey today. Also had a bit more time so I could actually pick out a pair of shoes and not just wear the ones I ALWAYS wear.

I picked up this long tank/tunic top for only… SGD 9! This I picked out of a whole pile of cheap (looking), badly made pieces, so it felt like a triumph. Not like this isn’t badly made, it probably is, but it was the only one I could see potential in. Plus it made for such an easy, comfy party outfit!
Yay for bargain finds. Take that, recession!
