It was a gorgeous day in SF yesterday. It finally felt like spring and I felt so lucky to have had a chance to go outside and enjoy the weather while I ran some errands for Chictopia.
I am wearing my new staple piece for spring/summer, my velvet maxi skirt. It’s perfect for those lazy days when I want to be comfortable but chic. It goes well with everything and was only $3, ThriftTown never lets me down.
I think I got recognized on the street yesterday, but I felt so awkward that I didn’t want to turn around…it’s really surreal when people recognize me, I don’t know the proper way to react. So please don’t be offended if you see me on the street and yell my name, but I don’t respond. However, if you do come up to me you will find I am quite nice and definitely not intimidating as some people tell me I am.

A Perfect Day Add as Favorite Photo

Yesterday we spent the perfect day wandering around the city. We started off at Golden Coffee, our favorite place to get $4 eggs, hash browns and toast. Next, we made our way to the Ferry building for fresh oysters and beautiful scenery. Our last stop was China town where we soaked in the festivities of Chinese New Year.
I really love masculine trousers and when American Apparel sent these to me I was thrilled. I wanted to create a simple, menswear inspired look, but with small, feminine touches.
