I am swooning over this fun futuristic trend and love its 3D effect that makes it look like a different color from every angle. In my opinion, this mirrored material in moderation works great, without risking looking like a disco ball! A holographic piece of clothing like a dress or a skirt can definitely be a statement maker, but in this case I would play coy with the rest of the outfit. For a subdued effect, incorporating holographic accessories like a clutch, shoes or jewelry can still add that little zazz to your overall look. Since I was trying on this funky trend for the first time, I wanted to test it out by just adding a couple of accent pieces like a beanie, a clutch and hologram wedges over an all black outfit, so that the iridescence stood out.
