If you ask any of my friends who's the shopaholic of the pack, they'd probably say me. And if not, I'm gonna go ahead and volunteer for it anyways. But mama taught me best, only if I'm absolutely in love with it and it "has to be on sale". What better way to research bargains and trends than going into the field and doing it myself. I do plenty of online window shopping and pinteresting (yes, I just made it into a verb) to know what I like and what to look for.
I'm against wearing stripes with polka dots, but wearing white after Labor Day is just an absurd fashion guideline. White isn't just a summer color and here I am in January proving it wrong. Eighty degree weather in mid January is reminding me why I never left. Where would I have gone that is this beautiful year round?
Went window shopping with Nadia in La Jolla off Prospect and although the only thing I bought was tea from The Living Room, I now know where some awesome stores are! It's silly that I've lived in San Diego my whole life and I'm still finding new roads, new adventures, and best of all, new stores!
I wanted to dress just as classy as the homes standing in La Jolla, so I flared my paired chambray shirt with my H&M necklace from NYE with classic white pants. The pants kind of wash out the shirt so pairing the bold teal purse from Tobi balanced it out nicely. Being 5'2" I'm a mega fan of nude heels, and these from Lulu's are so perfect!
