Bonjour ma cherie! When getting dressed this morning I wanted something simple and easy, and I guess I subconsciously turned into a French woman by the time I cinched my belt and turned to face the mirror, haha! This suede Whhttt Vintage skirt is proving to be one of the most versatile pieces in my closet, and having something with a different texture pushes me to be playful when trying to style it. You don't typically see red and brown together in outfits, but I really like the somewhat quirky color scheme it creates- they look like neutrals together but they're...not. And while trying to make this striped shirt work with this skirt, I found a new layering tip along the way: pop a turtleneck underneath your boat neckline tops! It helped add some more neutral color that balanced out the red, and made the top more four-feet-of-snow-on-the-ground winter appropriate.
