Collabunga 's Thoughts:

I picked up this silk kimono years ago, and had it hanging on the shoulders of a mannequin in my bedroom but never quite figured out how to wear it. Then it occurred to me that I needed to rip off the Bandaid and just treat it like I would an oversize cardigan - it's the biggest mistake to give the white glove treatment to the fancy items in your closet - you should be wearing them all the time to get as much return on that investment as possible!

I wore this gorgeous silk kimono with some tried-and-true high waist sweatpants (that cost me $13 at Target) and a graphic tee. I think it works because it's so unexpected, but still has that comfy, almost-pajamas feel to it that's on trend. (Is it still on trend? I say it is!) I added my favorite edgy wedges and a neon clutch to add just enough street cred so it wouldn't look like I truly did just roll out of bed. (Although, in fact, I did - can you tell by my bed head?)
