nonchalantnarcissism 's thoughts:

I abstained from embracing the sports-luxe trend for months after it first appeared on the streets of fashion weeks, for fear that my adopting it would be a misrepresentation of my identity.  That me, a severely coordination-challenged individual, sporting any item of clothing that was originally intended for physical activity would seem unforgivably phoney.  But upon beginning my blog, I promised myself that I would begin to experiment with style in a way that I previously would not have had the innovation or courage to do.  So I borrowed my sister's mesh tee, in an attempt to get a taste of the sports-luxe trend, without choking on its overwhelming flavour.  And I discovered that even I, the most exercise-disinclined person you could possibly imagine, can pull of the trend.  Anyone can make a trend work for them, simply by manipulating it and dilluting it until it's customised to their style.
