I've heard from a couple of people that they think being a fashion blogger is an easy job; some think it's all about vanity, narcissism and superfluousness. It goes much more deeper. I'm a fashion blogger because I like to share my life with my readers, enjoy having fun with clothes, I think I have something interesting to say about fashion.
I'm just gonna say it: it's hard out here for us bloggers. Not only do we have a million things to do everyday, we also take a lot of time taking outfit photos, editing those pictures, creating the best content possible (which includes writing and designing posts), taking care of the layout of our blogs, being active in social media. It's much more than "looking good", it's a very complex activity that involves knowing about brands, textiles, marketing, public relations. It's like a job, so we don't need to put up with people diminishing our efforts.
A lot of bloggers out there are students like me, some also have other jobs, families to take care of... And you know what? We do what we do because we love it. So, it's not at all superficial or vain. People share different passions in life and they should be equally respected. I'll repeat it: it's hard out here.
