thebrunettesalad 's Thoughts:

Probably inspired by a gag-worthy (in a good way) Miroslava Duma street style picture stowed away in my subconscious memory, the widely questioned “printed set combo” has been on my radar for quite some time now. I’ve been meaning to try it out without appearing geriatric, or like I am wearing those hospital scrubs with prints on them as a miserable attempt at making such an ensemble appear cheery and cute. Despite printed sets being boring in theory (It’s pretty much the exact same thing on the bottom as on top, right?), I think that they actually pack quite the outfit bang. This one from Love Zooey has a really cool, subtle geometric block pattern that isn’t too loud. I love that I can wear this skirt with a basic tee and a biker jacket, pair the sweater with a leather skirt or some black ripped skinny jeans, or of course wear them together for a statement. Super versatile.
