thecomelycloset 's Thoughts:

I am not sure why I tend to associate velvet with the holidays, but I quite enjoy it. It’s the perfect material in nice, deep hues that keep you cozy with its’ texture. I have had this top for a year now. It was a thrift find at my local Goodwill, and I immediately gravitated towards it. Once I saw it, I snatched it up before anyone else could! But who am I kidding, no one was fighting me for it… (and good, or else it could’ve gotten ugly! :P)

By the way, I was having a major bad hurr day. Even throwing it up in a bun couldn’t hide its mess! Having bad hair days are no fun. It ranks up there with paper cuts… ><"

I threw on my velvet top over a Zara dress I purchased on sale for $15, along with my caged heels from Ross, and necklace from the Fashion District.
