I was in Puerto Rico in February with my Mom who was receiving treatments for her cancer. The beach was lovely there. One of the other patients at her clinic was a photographer who asked to take some pictures of me. After this shot, I climbed up on those rocks (wearing the 5" platform espadrilles) and ended up with a huge gash on my left leg (which you can see the scar of in lots of my pics).

I made this dress- it is one of a kind recycled vintage. I used a skirt from the early 80s and re-did the entire thing. Check it out at Mind Over Matter by Stephanie Geisler
