This look includes some of my most versatile and prized pieces in my closet. The American Apparel disco pant is a piece I had been eyeing for two or so years before I decided to give in– they turned out better than expected. I have not been able to find anything quite like them, and they keep me warm on chilly mornings. The denim jacket is a find from No Relation, a thrift shop that garnered quite a bit of popularity as one Mr. Ben Haggarty’s favorite thrift shops. I have been racking my brain as to remember where my boots are from, but no can do. All I know is that they have this magical ability to make me look ever so slightly taller. The t-shirt is a Uniqlo pop-up find that Julia and I happened to stumble upon, and the crazy creeper & reflective glasses were found on Broadway around the SoHo area. Together, they create a pretty casual and fun look– plus it’s colorful which is refreshing for me. Sometimes I must remind myself that color exists.
These photos were taken on a chilly Sunday morning which proved to be a rude awakening to the weather ahead. While I have a feeling the severity of the weather will not be as terrible as last year, it will no doubt be freezing. And it seems that no matter how long I live here, when winter comes around I have no idea how to dress myself. Wish me luck! hah.
