How often do you get a chance to dress up, let alone glamorously? Especially when all you really want to do on your day off which i believe is somewhere between below freezing, like it was during this photo shoot and very cold is lounge all day and look unglamorous under a warm blanket. What if you get a chance out if zero to none to look flawless and just treat yourself for a day because heck, life sometimes gets way too busy. Would you dare? I did dare and i whipped out this maxi skirt to feel like a princess for a day. Maxis are timeless and one this sweet looking and graceful calls for special events…in the real world. In my world today, i beg to differ. I paired it with what looks like a velvet top but is actually a dress worn as a top. I decided to skip wearing a necklace because it seemed fine just as is. Now this is one other way to wear your bridesmaid dress or prom dress if you still have it. Don’t you think?
When you hear names like, Grace Kelly, Sophia Loren or Audrey Hepburn you think old school glam-SLAM! These are women who graced the covers of high fashion magazines all over the world not just because they were fashion icons but they were very successful as actresses and humanitarians. It all comes with hard work at trying to be the best in what they know how to do best- Act like looking glam was so effortless. Hahaha. Sure wearing maxi skirts with a fluff back in those days seemed more like a life style than anything else but it was worn impeccably and gracefully. I am neither one of these ladies but they sure inspired my glam look with a modern twist. While i may not be a princess i would love to be treated like a queen therefore carry myself like one.. ;).
Thank you all for reading. Hope you all had a glamorous weekend. Now your comments.
