This week was World MasterCard Fashion Week in Toronto and to call it a whirlwind would be a major understatement. From choosing my own outfits to gawking over the pieces making their way up and down the runway, I definitely had my fill of fashion! Over the next few days I’m excited to share with you the outfits I wore in a mini series called My World MasterCard Fashion Week Street Style.

I wore the above outfit to the Wednesday shows and was so glad I did because it was a cold one! The waterfall-style cardigan is from Marshalls and is a fabulous way to add texture to any outfit. The cheetah-esque pattern is fun but neutral, so you can do a lot with it. I chose to wear it because I wanted something fuzzy and warm, but didn’t want to look just like everyone else wearing faux fur. The cardigan was $39 – a total steal.

The mixed media jacket I’m wearing above is a David Buffalo jacket that normally retails for $150, but was only $50 when I scooped it up from the John St. Marshalls here in Toronto. It’s a texturized tweed with quilted faux leather on the shoulders and elbows. It even has mini shoulder pads, so I was able to maintain a polished look while staying warm and cozy.

I also wore a pair of Second Yoga Jeans in dark grey, my favourite suede pumps from Nine West, Betsy Johnson touch screen-friendly gloves from Marshalls, and a chunky black beanie hat from an Etsy seller. To finish it off, I swiped on a coat of MAC Rebel and tucked everything I was carrying into a black Date Night clutch by Rebecca Minkoff I picked up at a sample sale last week for $35.

What do you think of my steals? Fab finds or not so much? Leave a comment and let me know!
