wizardsofthewest 's Thoughts:

The sleeveless dress was simple and pure white save for the image printed on the front. There, black lines formed a striking image. An eye was at the very center, with a white star for a pupil in the black iris. An arc of dots above and a stylized thick eyelash emphasized the contour of the eye, while long lines dripped down from the lower lid. Triangles and zigzags created an elaborate design around the eye, and at the top, a triumphal arch marked by triangles completed the effect. The crowning piece of the arch was an inverted triangle with a black star in its center, mimicking the eye below.

In her dream, Nadine saw nothing but the woman in the dress. “Who are you?” She didn’t answer. Shadows shrouded her features. Only a dim silhouette was visible, and of course, the dress. The pattern shone with a dark light. The woman stepped closer and closer, but the shadows followed her. The eye got closer and closer. Nadine caught her breath. That design was not just a pattern on a dress, not in this dream world. It was a door.
