Naah, so not a spokesperson for Fall. Cold, wet and all the gooeyness in between is just a downer for a weather. This has been the tradition for me, for years. I have never really seen Fall differently. Come on, cold is cold. Right? My life has been on the fast lane for as long as i could remember and no, i am not complaining. Sometimes it moves so fast everything starts to look the same and becomes a routine no matter what:- Drinking from the same coffee mug every morning. Walking on the same side of the road every time i go for a walk feels right at home. Getting Chinese take out from the same spot for years, they already know me by my order- Combination Fried Rice With Extra Shrimp And 6 piece Fried Chicken (minimum)…oh and a Coke. Yeah, really. Hahaha. Somehow, my life took the back seat for a minute and i am able to take a good look around me to finally see and appreciate the real beauty of change- Colors of Fall.
Seeing the leaves in all these Fall colors which are known to be gold, shades of red or even darkest of reds, orange, brown and green is breathetaking. Living in an area with great fall foliage makes it hard not to fall in love with the lovely view.
I initially got that top for summer but i was totally inspired by the beautiful colors of Fall to wear it one more time. An orange blazer or gold trench coat over it works. The pants are from Express where i love to buy most of my dress pants. One of the few stores that always seems to have my exact size and an ideal length that fits perfectly from waist down with or without a belt. Orange bag + Nude pumps = Perfection.
I guess it is now safe to say, bring on the outfit patterns, pumpkin patchwork, pie baking and let’s give the beautiful changes in Fall a chance. Better late than never!
Thank you all for reading.
