It occurred to me the other day that I’ve worn virtually nothing but black, gray, white and navy since I left Paris. Which isn’t neccessarily a bad thing – I will always be a monochrome girl at heart. But sometimes you need to switch things up and this bright yellow dress from O’Neill was so cheerful, how could I resist? I’ve been loving the look of lighter, traditionally springy pastel shades for fall and even have my eye on a blush pink coat… but I’m probably getting a little ahead of myself thinking about that just yet. The autumn weather in Vancouver has been so beautiful, I’ve still managed to avoid wearing my opaque tights and I’m trying to hold out for as long as I can possibly manage. This in-between season of cool sunny days, the kind of Octobers that L.M. Montgomery’s Anne of Green Gables spoke of so fondly, is my favourite time of year and I wish it would last all forever!
