so this is a really late post of what i wore to my graduation ceremony.
while hunting for the perfect dress, i kept in mind several parameters.
first, i knew it was going to be scorching at the high school covered courts so i wanted a light fabric and a dress with no sleeves.
second, i wanted a printed dress. i knew everyone was gonna rock the black but i wanted something a lil bit more peppy and cheerful. it was a celebratory event after all.
finally, it had to be short as per the guidelines of our school. togas must be longer than the dress.
this topshop find was perfect! the open back kept me cool under the icky polyester toga.

in keeping with the “rockstyle” trend, i toughened it up with black platforms and a patent black bag. i kept the accessories spring-y and happy though (turquoise cuff from my grandma, random rings from my mom)!
