As you’ve seen recently, Gwyneth and I have been putting Fall’s most famous fabric into heavy wardrobe rotation this year. It’s so timeless that hearing tweed called a Fall trend makes us channel Miranda Priestly with a giant “groundbreaking” and a sigh. Plus, that it’s the uniform for stuffy outdoor activities like hunting, fishing and shooting isn’t exactly a huge selling point over here.
But there is a way to play along with this traditional texture. And that, dear friends, just happens to be our favorite part of getting dressed – accessorizing. We figure adding a giant gem statement necklace plus a rhinestone spiked one for good measure reads neither grandma at a church bingo night nor Scottish outdoorsman. Phew. (sigh.)
